Introduction to ITN

International Trainee Network / Odyssey International Services, now known as ITN, was founded 18 years ago in Los Angeles, California with the intention to facilitate global mobility and cultural exchange with today’s youth. The three owners of ITN realized the importance of international experience and travel at a very young age. Each of them believe that cultural exchange programs provide invaluable life lessons and key professional experience. Cultural exchange programs enrich the lives of both the individual who goes abroad as well as the communities and businesses that receive them.

When each of us thinks of travel, we all think of hospitality. Hospitality speaks a language that requires no translation and knows no borders. The hospitality industry represents global movement, cultural exchange and is a growing industry with many international career opportunities. For ITN it seemed only logical that we would focus on providing cultural exchange programs within the hospitality industry. Today, we are proud to say that we partner with over 200 of the United States’ most prestigious hotels and resorts, and that each year we are able to provide J-1 Intern/Trainee programs to over 2,000 international participants.

Together with its sister company and exclusive sponsor, Odyssey International Exchange, they work with over 200 of the United States’ most prestigious hotels and resorts, have over 40 international partner universities, and are delivering J-1 programs to over 2,000 international students and young professionals per year.

Aston J. Barnicoat realized the importance of international experiences and travelling at a young age. After having the opportunity to participate in cultural exchange programs himself, the invaluable life lessons and enriching experiences drove him to develop a program that would better benefit candidates searching for professional opportunities abroad. Anchored in hospitality education and training, the International Trainee Network (ITN) was born with the purpose to provide culturally immersive experiences and world-class hospitality training to young professionals from all over the world.

Located in the Los Angeles office and the Texas office respectively, Tiffany Zarrin and Nicolas Jones are responsible for assisting young professionals and students to visit the United States to participate in ITN’s hospitality exchange programs. A unique and unforgettable experience, the program allows participants to integrate themselves into local American communities, businesses, and take part of the culture. Not only this, but they can take the experience back home and on their lifelong professional journey.

Charlotte Guyot

There’s no one better to guide students through an exchange program with ITN than Charlotte Guyot. After completing her J-1 program in Los Angeles, CA with ITN, Charlotte Guyot joined the team as the European Partner Manager at ITN in Paris, France! In her position, she is in charge of building strong relationships with their Hospitality School partners and helping candidates through the streamline J-1 Exchange Program application process from beginning to end.
